4 things I did at Slayer concert

- Parked my car at Gateway basement
- Had some snack at McDonald's
- Took photos and videos outside and inside the theater hall
- Headbanged and rocked my soul out with Slayer!

Witnessed one of the biggest heavy metal bands in the world. I have been listening to Slayer since the 90s so seeing them perform live is mind-blowing.
I learned about this concert when my rock mate, Lyndon, tagged me on Facebook its promotion. Too bad Lyndon can't watch it because he works overseas. So I asked my friend Herbert to join me but he too works overseas and his contract was extended and missed the date of the concert. Because of these circumstances, I just bought a balcony ticket. I don't think I can make it alone from that crazy crowd in the VIP, I'm too old and unfit for mosh pit.

Arrived at the site at about 5:30PM.
The photobooth is for VIP ticket holders only.
My first glance at the stage upon entering the balcony.
My location, centered at the last row of the balcony...not bad.
I didn't get to see them up close but I felt the presence with their loud, thrash and heavy music. Plus awesome visuals of flashing lights and lasers. The show has started at around 8:30PM.
Slayer live and loud!
It's almost 10PM, the show has ended. Tom left a short message and thanked all the fans in attendance. Kerry, Gary and Paul gave away some picks and sticks to the crowd before finally waving goodbye. What a memorable night.
