This is one of the happiest moments of my life. Being a wanderlust, it's nice to be working on a cruise ship, get paid and travel for free. I'm not yet an adventure junkie during these times, all were for sightseeing only. All ports of call were traveled by foot, I did a lot of walking for hours at a time. I don't have enough money yet to spend on extreme adventures. Took advantage of the free shuttles and free tours provided by the crew office. With me, I always have my digital camera and my tripod. Most of the time I traveled alone because no one can keep up with me and most of them is not interested in traveling but to call home instead. I look for tourist attractions, they look for phone booths. Sometimes I compromise my rest time to go as far as 4 hours away by train to visit a really nice places and relatives. This is possible if the ship is staying overnight at the port. I have little money but so much energy. I hope I'll be back on a cruise ship again, I missed this way of life, everyday, different country.

- I work at night that's why I have plenty of time to travel.

- This is my first time to be away from home and worked as a seafarer but loneliness and homesickness did not dwell in me for long and adjusted to my wander-ful lifestyle.

- Worked as a Galley Utility and as assistant Soup Cook.
- It has a world cruise itinerary and famous in Atlantic crossings.
- Working in the cruise ship galley is crazy. I work in 3 shifts for 12-15 hours a day and turns from crazy to hell whenever we are in US ports. It took me some time to adjust, as I get used to my laborious job, I was able to travel in between shifts.
